Making Pinterest pins with Midjourney that people actually save

Prompt structure, aspect ratios, and how to get text on the pin without it looking generated.

Tools mentioned in this video

8.5/10

Midjourney

The reference point for aesthetic quality in pins, covers and thumbnails, with a workflow that fights you on text and consistency.

7.8/10

Canva

Magic Studio makes an already fast design tool faster. The AI images alone would not be worth paying for.

What the video covers

Midjourney does the background image. Canva does the text. Keeping those jobs separate is the whole trick. Midjourney's text rendering has improved, but misspelled headlines remain the most common complaint from its users, and each retry costs credits.

The video generates at 2:3, the aspect ratio Pinterest's documentation recommends, with a style reference so every pin on a board looks like it belongs together. It walks through a prompt template and two Canva layouts that Pinterest publishers commonly use.

None of this replaces a good title. A beautiful pin with a vague title gets scrolled past.
